Recently we created a viewbook for National University of Health Sciences (NUHS).
One of the challenges was to create an experiential diagram illustrating the paths of three students from different programs during their time at school and after graduation. The goal was to visually explain the integrative educational experience offered by the school highlighting the experiences where student's paths might cross.
To accomplish this we went through a process of visual exploration that allowed us to compare different layout approaches in order to tell the most clear and compelling story. Often the iterative process is as interesting as the final result.
Check out some of the early sketches, preliminary layouts, the final version and other spreads from the piece.
