Creative Mornings is a free event that started in NYC in 2009. The idea was to create an accessible, inspiring morning event for people to meet. Creative Mornings is now happening in over 30 cities around the world, and lucky for us, Boston is one of them!
This year, we decided to switch things up and become a sponsor for the AMA conference. In year's past, most exhibitors were limited to tabletop displays, but this year we were delighted to hear that AMA was allowing exhibitor booths. With plans already underway to design a new booth, we couldn't wait to start strategizing concepts to tie it all together.
As I was doing a spot of spring cleaning this past weekend, I happened across my student portfolio. On top of the case lay a small business card-size piece of paper with a hand scribbled note on it. I had written this note to myself in the early hours of some morning as I was in the throws of final portfolio comping. It simply states "Always remember this!" and is followed by my favorite quote about design.
I just got back from my annual weekend to NYC with my cousins. We have been meeting in the city every year for 20+ years. Our itinerary always includes a visit to a museum or gallery, shopping, and a Broadway Show.
