Ian Tulud: Student Design Days

Even gray skies and rain could not prevent the staff at kor from greeting me with a warm welcome.

The space was brightly lit, intimate and open; resonating with the tight-knit collective. With the help of MB and Amy, I was able to gain insightful feedback on my portfolio and how to better present my body of work. Camila and Matt discussed their process in great depth all the while revealing the stages of expectation versus reality. I sat in a lunch meeting with Anne, Phil, Doug and a client for a non-profit organization. It was gratifying to see how design practice can be used to make an impact on a community. My day at kor opened up new perspectives and I am beyond excited for my future in design.
